In order to build a service system that meets the needs of Japanese users, BYD Japan plans to establish retailers in 22 cities from late January 2023, and hopes to eventually cover all areas of Japan's 47 counties. It is worth mentioning that the official stated that it is expected to build more than 100 dealers across Japan by the end of 2025. It is understood that AUTOBACS DEALER GROUP HOLDINGS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AUTOBACS SEVEN, which is responsible for the dealer business, jointly established AUTOBACS E-MOBILITY with BYD Auto Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of BYD, on December 5, and has decided to sign a dealer contract.
Let's take a look at BYD ATTO 3 (corresponding to Yuan PLUS in China). The new car adopts the latest Dragon Face 3.0 design language of BYD family, with simple and smooth lines. The embossed BYD brand logo on the chrome-plated trim running through the front face better enhances brand recognition. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4455/1875/1615mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2720mm. It is positioned as a compact SUV. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 204 horsepower and a peak torque of over 330N m. The battery will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate blade battery. Depending on the configuration of the model, the cruising range under NEDC conditions is available in two options: 430km and 510km.
